Steep gradients mean cars are parked on slopes far more often than not, and a slope changes how a wheel comes off — chocks first, jack on a solid flat pad, nothing rushed. Kentwood and the upper roads are the steepest of it. Down at Calcot the A4 retail parking gives the usual returning-shopper flats, along with kerb damage from tight bays and high concrete edges.
