Run-flats changed without dragging the car to a dealer
A run-flat that has been driven on is often finished. The wall is a different job to a standard tyre, and a high-street bay will sometimes refuse it. We come to the car with the right machine and we will not pretend a standard tyre is a like-for-like if the car needs run-flat.

- Stiffer walls need the right kit — we do not lever them like a soft tyre
- We check whether the car actually requires run-flat before swapping the spec
- TPMS reset or note if the light will need a further visit
- If you drove it flat for miles, we inspect the wheel before hanging new rubber

That is common and it often kills the tyre. Tell us how far. We will look at the rim. If the wheel is oval we will not waste a new run-flat on it.
Can you put ordinary tyres on instead?
Only if the car allows it and you understand what that does to the spare strategy. Some cars have no spare because they were specified with run-flat. We will say if a switch is a bad idea.
