Questions
Short answers
If it is not here, ring 020 7101 7043.
Where does Day and Night actually work?
Virginia Water is the desk — GU25. We cover Egham, Englefield Green, Thorpe, Staines-upon-Thames, Wraysbury, Windsor, Old Windsor, Datchet, Eton, Sunningdale, Sunninghill, Ascot, Windlesham, Bagshot, Lightwater, Wentworth and Longcross. If you are past that list, send the postcode. We will say yes or no before a van moves.
Is the number answered after midnight?
Yes. Same number at 3am as 3pm. Night calls are for cars that cannot wait: a shredded tyre, a dead battery that has to move, a recovery blocking a lane. A driveway pair you could do tomorrow morning can be booked as a slot.
How do I get a price?
Ring 020 7101 7043 or WhatsApp that number. We need where you are, the car, and what failed. You get a figure before we roll. Email is slower — use help@dayandnighttyres.co.uk for things that can sit until daylight.
Do you only fit one brand of tyre?
No. Name a preference if you have one. If that exact wall is not on the van we tell you the nearest size and compound, not a fiction.
I am on the A30. Where should I wait?
Hazard lights. Behind the barrier if there is one. Do not stand in a live lane. Give us the nearest thing with a name: a junction, a station, a gate. We will not hunt the wrong slip of M25 J13.
When do I pay?
When the work is done, unless we agreed otherwise. Card is normal. Say if you need a receipt for an insurer or a fleet.
Is a driveway fitting a proper job?
The wheel comes off with the right kit. Nuts go back to the figure on the car. A repair that would not hold is refused. If the wheel is cracked we tell you, rather than hanging a new tyre on it.
Are you a national helpline?
No. Day and Night Mobile Tyres is a Virginia Water outfit. You are speaking to people who drive GU25, the A30 and the Wentworth gates — not a script for the whole of the South East.
