Hook, Hartley Wintney, Eversley and the Whitewater villages

The A30 threads through this district end to end, and most of what we get called to sits within sight of it.

Hook is built around the junction and takes motorway traffic straight off it, which is where the high-speed tyre damage comes from — felt at seventy, driven on to the roundabout, and finished by the time it stops. Hartley Wintney has a broad green with angled parking and high kerbs, and clipped rims are routine there. Eversley, Mattingley and Heckfield are gravel-pit and farm country with heavy vehicles pulling stone onto the road. Dogmersfield and Winchfield are single-track with canal bridges, blind humps and no room to pass.

Humpback bridge is a bad place to stop and a worse place to jack. If that is where you are, we will move the car first.
