Warfield, Binfield, Winkfield Row and the Forest Road villages

North of Bracknell the town stops abruptly and turns into farmland. RG42 is the seam between the two.

Forest Road and the lanes off it are the giveaway — new housing on one side, tractors and mud on the other. Mud on tarmac hides flints and dropped fixings, and a hedge-cutting run leaves a stretch of road that punctures three cars in a week. The newer parts, Amen Corner, Quelm Park and Whitegrove, are dense modern estates with kerb-tight parking and shared drives. Binfield and Newell Green have older cottages set right on the road with no drive at all. Jealott's Hill sits at the end of a long approach road with farm traffic on it.

Farm lane with a hedge either side: we need to know if there is anywhere at all to pull in. If not, we plan for a recovery.
