Odiham, North Warnborough, Greywell and Long Sutton

Five villages tucked between the M3 and the downs. Far from Virginia Water, and we say so plainly rather than take the job and disappoint.

Odiham High Street is wide but the side roads off it are not, and parking runs half up the kerb along most of them — which is where the alloy damage starts. North Warnborough and Greywell sit low by the canal with narrow bridges and a road surface that breaks up along the edges every winter. Long Sutton and South Warnborough are hill villages joined by single-track lanes with high banks, blind crests and passing places that are often full. Farm entrances drag flint and mud out onto the tarmac all through the wetter months.
