GU24
Chobham, Bisley, West End and the common
Open heath, military ground and a lot of unlit lane. GU24 is close enough to count as home ground.
The A322 splits the district and carries the fast traffic; everything either side of it is single-track. Round Chobham, Burrowhill, Mimbridge and Donkey Town the verges are soft sand and heather, and a car that drops a wheel off the edge does not come back on without help. Bisley and Pirbright have their own rhythm — service traffic, ranges, and a lot of vehicles with heavy load and old tyres. Fairoaks brings light aircraft traffic down a single approach road with a gate at the end of it. Nail punctures are common near anywhere with fencing or forestry work on.
Sunk a wheel into a sand verge? That is a recovery job before it is a tyre job. Say what happened and we will bring the right vehicle.
