Lightwater, and the roads off junction 3

One village, close to home. Lightwater sits under M3 junction 3 and picks up the traffic that comes with it.

A lot of the calls here start on the motorway and end on the slip road or the first roundabout after it. Once someone has run a mile on a deflating tyre the shoulder is usually gone, and a plug in that is not honest work — we will tell you that on the phone. In the village itself the streets are 1960s estate layout, wide enough but heavily parked, and the drives are steep short ramps that scuff rims. The Country Park car park has a rough entrance track and no lighting worth the name after dark, which is where a torch and a proper jack pad earn their keep.
