GU17
Blackwater, Hawley, Darby Green and Minley
GU17 is a valley with two fast roads down it. The A30 and the A331 do most of the damage we get called to.
The relief road carries lorry traffic and sheds the usual — bolts, banding, bits of shredded truck tyre that go straight through a car sidewall. That is a replacement every time, and we would rather say it on the phone than at the roadside. Blackwater and Darby Green are dense residential with kerbside parking on both sides, so alloy damage is routine. Out at Minley and Hawley it goes to woodland lanes with flint and no lighting. Blackbushe brings a mix of light aircraft traffic, market days and a large expanse of loose surface that is unkind to anything low.
Stopped on the A331 or the A30? Get out the near side, behind the barrier, and ring. We will treat it as a live-lane job.
