Windsor, Eton, Old Windsor and the Great Park roads

SL4 is two districts wearing one postcode. Tourist Windsor, and everything behind it that actually lives there.

In the centre it is cobbles, coach traffic and setts around Windsor Royal Shopping — surfaces that find every weak sidewall and every kerb-shy driver. Eton High Street is barely wide enough for two mirrors, so a flat there stops the road, and we would usually rather move the car than work in it. Dedworth, Clewer and Clewer Green are estate parking, kerbed alloys, slow punctures found on a Monday morning. Out towards Cranbourne, Woodside, Winkfield and Oakley Green the roads turn to park lanes with deep verges and cattle grids, and the Legoland run in summer backs up the B3022 long enough that a soft tyre becomes a flat one while you sit on it.

Centre of Windsor on an event day: we may ask you to roll it to a side street. It is quicker for both of us than working in a coach queue.
